Someone recommended this book to me and I wish I remembered who it was so I could thank them. I, in turn, recommend this to everyone who asks me for suggestions. Need a book for bookclub? Read this one! Going on vacation? Take this with you! I love this so much but I sit here almost paralyzed trying to think of the words that would entice you to read it. Gorgeous descriptions of food? A little mystery that needs solving? A sweet story with a satisfying ending? A great escape from the awfulness of 2020?

Delicious! is about a girl, a food magazine, a famous chef and set in New York City. I tend to think I’m a pretty strict reviewer and if there is something I don’t like I’ll tell you about it. But there isn’t anything I didn’t like about this book. Written by Ruth Reichl, editor-in-chief at Gourmet magazine, it is her only fiction book. I wish she had more!
